About Castle View Academy

Castle View Academy, located in the north of Portsmouth, is a rapidly expanding non-selective secondary school serving pupils aged 11-16. We are proud of the education and training we provide to both pupils and staff in our purpose-built facilities. Excellence lies at the heart of everything we do, and we are eager to welcome like-minded colleagues who share this vision.

Our staff are happy, dedicated, and hardworking. We offer bespoke CPD programs tailored for PGCEs, NQTs, Teach First, School Direct and qualified staff, and actively encourage engagement with a wide range of CPD opportunities available through United Learning.

Castle View Academy is conveniently located with excellent access to public transport and local amenities. We offer high-quality facilities including fully equipped science labs, creative arts spaces, and technology-enhanced learning environments. Staff also benefit from comfortable workspace and on-site amenities.

Built in 2018, the academy’s modern facilities provide an inspiring environment for teaching and learning, supporting high-quality provision across the arts, sport, technology and performance.

The school is within easy reach of the vibrant university city of Portsmouth, with its Historic Dockyard, ferry ports and Royal Naval Base, as well as excellent rail links to London and easy access to the Isle of Wight & France.
