About Buxton Infant School
We offer a family
friendly, child centered approach where each and every child is nurtured to
reach their potential. We have an excellent reputation for Special Educational
needs and are fully inclusive. Our staff team are responsive and nurturing and
believe in setting high standards for all children to succeed; regardless of
their starting point. Our curriculum is rich, varied and creative and we
believe firmly in education that goes beyond the classroom, providing lots of
educational visits and opportunities to work with other professionals. We
believe in broadening horizons and teaching children about life in modern
Britain and the world beyond.
Our close relationships
with parents and carers are important to us and we see our school as a vital
part of the community, supporting the whole family and providing a venue for
local clubs and groups outside of school hours.
