Brownlow Primary School

I am delighted to welcome you to Brownlow Primary School. We are a large school of over 500 pupils, yet we maintain a family feel with a strong community ethos.

Selecting a school for your child is a daunting process and we realise how important it is to feel trust in the people that care for your child each day. Each of our staff is highly dedicated and will always go the extra mile to ensure that every child is valued, inspired and engaged. We live by our ‘Happy, Healthy and High achieving’ motto and this is embedded into our curriculum. Our curriculum is inclusive, creative, ambitious and enquiry led.  We aim to master the basics we need for life in reading, writing and maths as well as develop our knowledge and curiosity of the world. We believe that education is about the entire child, their well-being and enrichment as well as their academic achievement. Over the last couple of years, we have worked as a team to enhance the academic success, curriculum, outdoor environment and appearance of our school and there is still more to come! We pride ourselves on our PE and Music achievements.

At Brownlow we are proud to be part of the Mowbray Education Trust. This partnership allows true collaboration across its schools which benefits our children enormously.
