Bromham Primary is a Church of England school set on two sites in the large village of Bromham 3 miles west of Bedford.
The oldest part of the school dates back to 1861, with land and buildings donated primarily by the Rice Trevor family. in 1965 another school was built to serve the growing village. The two schools merged in 1995, joined by a path across fields at the back of both.
The school is two-form entry, with Early Years and Year 1 at the older, smaller site, and Years 2,3,and 4 at the larger site.
Our children are at the heart of everything we do in school. We are a Church school and a Values school and everyone is committed to living the values we believe in.
Bromham Primary is a school where staff development is highly valued. We support our staff in their careers and offer varied opportunities for professional development.
This is an exciting time for the school. From September 2017 our upper Key Stage 2 pupils will remain at Bromham as we make the move towards primary status. Plans are already being made for the changes and challenges ahead.
Building is due to take place in preparation for the expansion of the school, and from September 2017 Early Years and ALL of KS1 will be together at the Village Road site.
