Head Teacher’s Welcome

 

My name is Mr Medway and it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Broadmeadow Junior School on behalf of the children, staff and governors. We are a Junior School located in Kings Norton, Birmingham and have 221 children aged seven to eleven at the school. We share our site with Broadmeadow Infant School, with whom we have very close links and work in partnership to ensure an effective transition which builds on pupils' prior learning as they enter year 3.

 We are blessed with staff who are committed to the well-being, happiness and development of the children in our care each day. Working together we provide a supportive environment where each and every child feels valued, respected and safe. Broadmeadow Junior School is not just about academic success, it is about belonging to a community, experiencing opportunities, enjoyment and friendship and enabling our children to become the best they can be. It is about learning and achieving more than they thought possible. It is about nurturing a commitment to responsibility, understanding and respect.
