Bradford is a tiny, close knit school community with a fun and vibrant atmosphere, a focus on being ‘Active Every Day’ and on challenging ourselves to be the best we can be in every area of life. Our values are simple. We believe that school should nurture our pupil’s minds, bodies and spirits to enable them to flourish and succeed every day. We do this through a broad, carefully planned curriculum and a focus on character development.

Bradford Primary is proud to be part of the Ruby Hub of schools within the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust.

At Bradford, our numbers are small, but our site is huge! We have a big field, lots of climbing equipment, a large playground, and our own Wild Tribe area.  Active children who like plenty of outdoor space to let off steam, thrive in our setting. 

Bradford is proud of being a highly active school, with daily physical challenges, lots of sporty clubs, as well as lots of visiting PE specialists who deliver lessons in Sports, Gym and Dance. 

Choosing Bradford means choosing to be part of a vibrant community of staff, parents and families who enjoy being involved in school life, planning activities, treats and community social events. 

In our mixed-age classes, pupils build sibling-like relationships with their older and younger peers; every child gets lots of individualised support, lots of chances to shine and benefit from the opportunity to develop leadership skills that come from our small cohorts.

Bradford also includes a thriving nursery, welcoming children from 2 years and upwards.
