About Bomere Heath Church of England Primary School

On behalf of everyone at Bomere Heath CE Primary School, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our school website.

As Head of School, I feel privileged to introduce you to our vibrant and successful school—a happy place where fantastic children, dedicated staff, and supportive parents, carers and governors come together to form a special community. We are a ‘school family’ that nurtures excellence and supports children in learning for life.

We are a small, rural village primary school where children are truly at the heart of everything we do. We are proud of the family atmosphere we foster and of our kind, caring, and motivated pupils who thrive in an inclusive, nurturing, and Christian environment. Our core values—Love, Hope, and Respect—permeate every aspect of school life, shaping the way we learn and grow together.

Our Christian Vision

“To be the best we can be, knowing that,
‘with God all things are possible’ (Matthew 19:26)”

Our staff are fully committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning, backed by first-class care and support for all. We are passionate about recognising the individual talents of every child, ensuring that opportunities are provided so all can reach their full potential. I believe that your child has the potential to achieve amazing things, and by working together, we can make that a reality.

Our website offers just a glimpse of the exciting activities and learning experiences that happen here at Bomere Heath. Please enjoy browsing, and if you would like to see our brilliant school in action, I would be delighted to welcome you for a visit.

We deeply value the relationship between school, parents, and carers, and we warmly invite families to celebrate achievements, share experiences, and support our children. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people remains at the heart of everything we do, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Bomere Heath CE Primary School is proud to be part of the Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust (SCEAT), embracing excellence in education within a faith-filled environment. While we benefit from the collaboration and support of the Trust, we retain our own identity as a small rural school at the heart of the Bomere Heath community. At the heart of our school improvement strategy is a commitment to achieving a school-led system that promotes and secures outstanding levels of achievement for all children. The Trust has created three geographical hubs of schools across Shropshire, built upon a successful model of collaborative working. This affords schools the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of working closely with colleagues in neighbouring schools within the Trust. While each school retains its unique identity within its community, we understand that mutual challenge, support, and partnership enable our schools to flourish.

In May 2025, we were delighted to receive a prestigious J1 Judgement in our SIAMS inspection—an outstanding recognition that confirms we are fully living up to our foundation as a Church of England school. This reflects our strong Christian vision, dedicated leadership, and the positive impact our ethos has on pupils and staff, enabling all members of our community to flourish. As noted in our SIAMS report:

“Bomere Heath is a school with a huge heart. Christian love radiates outwards into the community. This creates a strong sense of belonging, allowing adults and pupils to flourish.”

We are immensely proud that our commitment to Christian values and inclusivity has been recognised in such a meaningful way.
