About Bispham Spencer Academy

At Bispham Spencer Academy we aim high and are proud of the wonderful children we teach. We have the highest standards in all areas and our children respond positively to our expectations.

We have a committed and motivated staff who continually strive to enable every child to be the best they can be, while always ensuring that fun in teaching is not forgotten.

We are lucky to teach our children in a lovely environment where fresh air and exercise reinforce our positive outlook. All our work is underpinned by a strong belief in the core values of determination, resilience, innovation, valuing others and empathy.

We have high aspirations and want every child to be the hero of their own story. We help them to understand that each week is a new adventure that will present challenges, occasional setbacks and many successes. They will learn to grasp every opportunity and overcome any obstacle to leave our school with greater independence, ready to become the remarkable young adults and global citizens they all have the potential to be.

We have an outstanding and supportive staff team, and we expect children to leave us well equipped academically to make the most of the next stage of their education. We enhance our curriculum with philosophy and outdoor learning in wonderful grounds. Alongside this, our pupils develop resilience, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity and flexibility to enable them to adapt and make the most of opportunities that will be presented to them.
