About Bellfield Primary School

WELCOME TO BELLFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL
A message from our Senior Leadership Team

At Bellfield, we believe every child can succeed by living our school vision: "Believe, Persevere, Succeed."
This vision guides us in helping children reach their full potential through confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
As one of the four founding schools of Hull Collaborative Academy Trust (HCAT), we're proud to help shape the futures of over 6,500 children across Hull and the East Riding!
We are an inclusive school where every individual is valued and cared for.
Restorative principles are central to our approach, and we believe strong relationships are key to helping children flourish.
We encourage pupils to be reflective, resilient, social, and courageous in their learning.

We deeply value the role of parents and carers in delivering a purposeful, bespoke education and look forward to continuing our strong partnerships with you.
Mr Mark Batty | Executive Headteacher
Miss Anna Howard | Head of School

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Bellfield Primary is a small, friendly school with a strong family feel. We have one class per year group and a 52-place nursery, with 214 children on roll plus 31 nursery pupils.
Our single-storey building includes 9 classrooms, including our newly created Discover Classroom SENED Unit to support a small number of high need pupils, a library, a Resilience Room, where pupils can receive social, emotional and mental health support from our highly skilled and dedicated Emotional Wellbeing team and a mobile classroom. We have one hall used for breakfast club, lunches, PE, and assemblies.
We work closely with local secondary schools to ensure smooth transitions for our pupils. Bellfield is well-regarded in the community and is regularly over-subscribed.
We are especially proud of our reputation for supporting pupils' social, emotional, and mental health, and for providing high-quality provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our inclusive ethos ensures that every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Bellfield is a place where children love to learn, and where their happiness and success are at the heart of everything we do.

Our aim at Bellfield Primary School is for all children to be confident, enthusiastic and happy individuals who are brave and ambitious in all that they do.
Our restorative approach will enable children to become inclusive team players and problem solvers who treat each other with respect and empathy.
We will provide an engaging curriculum designed to prepare children to be resilient whilst on their journey to becoming successful adults.
Here at Bellfield Primary School, all children will be championed and encouraged to be the best they can be.
We will:
