Beech Hyde Primary School and Nursery

About Beech Hyde Primary School and Nursery

At Beech Hyde we pride ourselves in creating a stimulating environment that helps our children to progress academically, socially, emotionally and physically to their maximum potential. We are committed to the partnership that the school and home share in the education of each child. Parents appreciate our 'open door' policy and we strive to strengthen that relationship by working together and sharing successes at every opportunity.

Staff work together to build a centre of excellence in which we aim to achieve high academic standards whilst ensuring that the needs of all pupils are met. Our aims include embracing the diverse social and emotional needs of each child, delivering a broad and enriched curriculum that inspires every learner, develop a spirit of curiosity and actively encourage independent learning, promote the school’s ethos of tolerance, respect and mutual support and trust the children in a wide range of duties to develop a sense of social responsibility.

Beech Hyde is proud to be part of The Ambition Education Trust (AET) which consists of ten schools in Hertfordshire; three primary, one nursery and infants’, one juniors and five secondary. Our Trust launched in September 2024 following the amalgamation of two established Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), Alban Academies Trust and Atlas Multi Academy Trust. Our aim is to build on our proven track records of maintaining exceptional standards and driving continuous school improvement.

Providing ‘educational excellence for all’ and making superb learning opportunities available to all the children and young people in our schools, requires exceptional teachers and support staff.   As a trust we strive to offer rewarding careers and opportunities for personal and professional development throughout our organisation and we are always eager to hear from talented individuals who want to make a difference.

Within our schools and trust central team, we have a wide range of fantastic roles both within teaching, including newly qualified and unqualified teaching positions, and school support roles, such as classroom and learning support, administrative support and roles within our business functions.  We are also proud to provide a great range of flexible opportunities including term time and part time working.
