About Bayside Academy
At Bayside, we are passionate about learning and strive to instil in our young people a love and excitement for learning that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. This is shown through our mantra ‘High Expectations lead to High Achievers’.
We are situated within, and surrounded by, a beautiful natural environment. There are beaches, marshlands, paths, stunning views and access to a train station all within walking distance of the school. The Academy building was totally refurbished in 2008 and we are lucky to have bright and spacious classrooms together with a significant amount of outdoor space to enhance learning, including a wooded area, school fields, outdoor learning environment and a Multi Use Games Area.
We have a fantastic staff team with a strong commitment to high quality teaching and learning. We believe in the development of the ‘whole child’ as an individual, who will leave our school with the skills and qualities needed to become a responsible global citizen in an ever-changing world.

At Bayside Academy we endeavor to secure outstanding achievement, high standards of social skills and the improved life chances of all our pupils and young people: to 'Empower and Enable'. We guarantee a broad and balanced curriculum that prepares our children and young people for modern Britain.
Bayside Academy has three key objectives:

· Improving schools by outstanding leadership
· Achieving “operational economies” across Authentic Education in terms of “value for money” and organisational resilience.

Bayside Academy demands high expectations for all. In everything Bayside Academy does, we always refer back to our mantra that encapsulates the belief that Bayside Academy must have outstanding teaching and achievement.
A culture of high expectation leads to the highest achievers as we all thrive to better ourselves. Children and staff are challenged and supported to get the best possible outcomes. Children, with the support of their teacher, set themselves goals and targets which they then challenge themselves to meet.
