About Aylward Primary School
Dear Candidate,
Thank you for your interest in joining Aylward Primary School.
Aylward Primary School is a three form entry school with a Nursery.
In April 2017 we moved into a brand new school building. The new school building is set in extensive grounds and has a specialist resource on site that caters for pupils who are on the Autistic Spectrum. This small group of children are fully integrated and enjoy the support of specialist staff. There are currently 530 pupils on roll at Aylward.
Pupils are keen to learn and demonstrate very positive attitudes towards each other. The staff is a good balance of experienced, established and more recently appointed members. All enjoy working at Aylward and work closely in year groups and key stages. The school is committed to professional development.
