Arlecdon Primary School is a vibrant, caring community where every child is known, valued, and supported. We set high expectations and personalise learning so that every pupil not only reaches their potential but exceeds it. Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning, with children’s happiness at the heart of everything we do.
While core subjects form the foundation of our curriculum, we also recognise the importance of nurturing interests across all areas. Our passionate staff create opportunities for children to explore the world around them, discover new languages, engage in the arts, and enjoy a wide range of sports and enrichment activities.
OUR VALUES
We believe that our central role in school is to ensure learning. Our pupils need to learn the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for their futures as citizens of the world.

Arlecdon Primary School
We work tirelessly to prepare our pupils for the next stage of their education, raise aspirations, and broaden horizons. We aim to develop resilient learners who approach challenges with confidence and enthusiasm. Alongside academic success, we foster social responsibility, respect for diversity, and an understanding of the positive impact they can have on society.
Strong partnerships with families are central to our ethos. We believe that collaboration between home and school helps children feel safe, secure, and ready to thrive. Our dedicated team works together to share expertise and ensure every child benefits from the very best support.
Arlecdon Primary School is a place where children are encouraged to dream big, work hard, and grow into confident, compassionate individuals. I am proud to lead such a forward-thinking, caring, and ambitious school community.
Although we are a small school, we have a big heart. Our beautiful grounds provide a peaceful, inspiring setting that supports learning and creativity. We offer a rich, creative curriculum that embraces outdoor learning, encouraging children to explore, discover, and develop curiosity and confidence.
One of our greatest strengths is our small class sizes, which allow us to deliver highly personalised learning experiences. Every child is known, valued, and supported to achieve their full potential—both academically and personally.
We believe education should be joyful, inclusive, and rooted in real-world experiences. Our dedicated staff work closely with families to ensure every child thrives in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our school. I warmly invite you to visit us and experience for yourself what makes Arlecdon such a special place to learn and grow.
