Hello and welcome to the Arena Schools and Dartmoor School Sport Partnership website. Our values as a partnership are to ‘Inspire, Challenge and Succeed’. This is fundamental to all the support we provide to schools when working with children of all ages and abilities.

About Us

Arena Schools and the Dartmoor School Sport Partnership (DSSP) merged in September 2024. Both partnerships have been delivering PE and School Sport services to schools for over 20 years, across Devon and Cornwall. During this time, our success has grown from strength to strength and the partnership has adapted to the growing needs of schools as they evolve in the current education climate.

We believe we need to empower children in our schools to “CHALLENGE: INSPIRE: SUCCEED”, and so the root of what we do is based on participation and excellence for all children we work with. We currently offer a raft of experience from high quality curriculum delivery, first class competitions, bespoke training and support and a highly successful outdoor learning programme through ‘Wild Tribe’.

We work with SEND pupils and can adapt our provision to meet the needs of all pupils. We believe that within physical education there is something for everyone with our rich, diverse provision. The focus is always on the quality of the experience for the learner. We believe that working with teachers and other adults to support them in their delivery, enhances the experience of the child so that they have a lifelong ambition of keeping healthy and active.

To achieve this, we have a great team who form the staff for the partnership. All of whom are very experienced Physical Education practitioners who have significant experience of working with both primary and secondary aged children.

We are involved in local and national programmes, and we ensure we remain up to date with all current guidelines and new initiatives and opportunities that would be of value to our schools.

We are continually striving to improve our practice and share this across the schools we work with.
