About Altrincham Grammar School for Girls
Altrincham Grammar School for Girls are part of Bright Futures Educational Trust, a multi-academy trust set up in 2011. The Trust is made up of a richly diverse group of schools in Greater Manchester and Blackpool. We are passionate about working together within and beyond the Trust to achieve our aspirational vision: the best for everyone, the best from everyone. We are an organisation that is underpinned by values of: Leadership, Integrity, Passion, Community, Equality and Resilience. In everything we do, we remember that we are accountable to the children, families and communities that we serve.
Founded in 1910, Altrincham Grammar School for Girls is proud of
its long tradition of academic success, sporting and cultural achievement and
caring service to the community.
Today's students are encouraged to maintain the highest standards of the
past while preparing to play their part in the increasingly technological world
of tomorrow. Enjoyment of learning, self-discipline, concern for others and
opportunities for leadership lie at the heart of the school's ethos.
Every student is valued equally and encouraged to develop their potential to the full.
