This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a
wide range of equestrian competitions, including British Showjumping (BS) and
British Dressage (BD) events. You will play an important role in ensuring the
smooth and professional running of shows, contributing to a high-quality
experience for competitors, judges and visitors.
Key responsibilities include assisting with the set-up and
dismantling of arenas and courses, maintaining show equipment and facilities,
supporting the running of dressage and showjumping competitions, and assisting
judges and competitors throughout events. You may also be required to support
administrative tasks such as handling dressage score sheets.
The role requires a proactive and flexible approach, with
the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy event
environment. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, strong
communication abilities and a sound knowledge of dressage and showjumping
competitions, with the ability to assist competitors and clients with their
horses.
The role will involve some weekend work and possibly evening
work on a rota basis.
Successful candidates must be reliable, well-organised, and
able to meet the physical demands of the role. Previous experience in a
customer-facing or equine environment would be advantageous.
In return, you will gain valuable hands-on experience within
a professional equestrian setting, working alongside an experienced and
supportive team.
