South Staffordshire College are looking to employ a highly motivated
and inspirational individual to join our Learning Support team at Futures, a
purpose-built specialist facility at Rodbaston campus that provides a high
quality, fully inclusive
learning environment for our students with severe and complex learning
difficulties and disabilities.
We
are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Worker who can work
effectively and imaginatively to provide first class support for students, to
develop education, communication, social, emotional and personal skills to
assist with their preparation into adulthood. Our provision centres
around delivering personalised study programmes which are designed to support
each one of our learners to achieve their full potential.
You
will be a strong team player with a real desire to help young adults. Previous
experience working in a range of settings supporting young people or adults
with learning differences and or disabilities, knowledge of SEND and the
Education, Health and Care process will be an advantage. This is an excellent
opportunity for the right candidate to join this successful team.
