Set within the students' own homes and out in the community, our learning packages meet the needs of the individual students in ways which suit them, enabling them to succeed and t learn in ways that they never knew possible. This role provides freedom like no other education role does. As a self employed associate, you’ll be able to create a bespoke availability to work when you’re able to and enjoy that work life balance that some traditional teacher roles sorely lack.

So who are you?

• Well you’d have to have a Qualified Teaching Status.

• You’ll have the ingenuity to make the curriculum work for students as individuals.

• You’ll have to have experience working with students with a range of complex additional needs including extensive knowledge of PDA.

• We need you to have as strong a commitment to safeguarding as we do.

• A clear head that can handle challenging situations and the resilience to support students that may not have felt they fit in the school.

• You’ll have be as enthusiastic as we are too! You’re gonna have to love teaching and, like us, want to be part of something to help change lives.

What do you need to be able to do?

• Developing strong professional relationships with the children and young people who have complex needs and have often experienced significant difficulties in previous education settings

• Understand the importance of emotional regulation and can implement strategies to support/model this appropriately.

• Have detailed knowledge of attachment disorder and how this impacts students.

• Following the guidance in each person's individual risk assessment/student plan to support them to manage their anxiety and behaviour in a positive way and to keep them and others safe.

• Utilise a range of strategies in supporting the range of additional needs we work with
