About this Role

The Clerk to the Board will provide strategic leadership for governance across the Mater Christi Trust, ensuring effective, compliant, and high-performing governance at Board and Member level. The role ensures governance adheres to statutory and regulatory requirements, reflects good practice, and supports effective decision-making.

We are looking for someone who:

Has strong organisational skills
Is confident working at a senior level
Has strong understanding of governance or a willingness to develop expertise in this area
Understands and is committed to the values and purpose of Catholic Education

Essential Qualifications:

Educated to degree level or equivalent profession experience
Recognised governance qualification or working towards one (e.g. ICSA/CGI, NGA, equivalent
Strong working knowledge of charity and company governance
