About this Role

We are seeking a qualified Primary teacher to work as a Tutor within our tuition partnership, providing face-to-face educational support and guidance to students. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status, be an experienced classroom teacher and possess strong communication skills. We are a small and friendly team working in a lovely educational setting with hard-working students and supportive families. Tutors can choose their own after-school hours to suit their work-life balance. Currently we are looking for short-term and temporary cover but there will be opportunities for further work in the future. Duties

- Provide one-on-one and paired tutoring sessions to students

- Plan engaging lessons based on students' needs

- Assist students in understanding subjects and improving academic performance

- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other tutors on the team

- Create a positive and engaging learning environment

Requirements

- Qualified Teacher Status

- Experience in classroom teaching and tuition

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Passion for education and helping students succeed
