Unity Education Trust seeks to appoint a calm and reliable adult with
strong communication skills who would like the opportunity to support children
for 2 hours each day as a Midday Supervisor at UET Pathfinder Douglas Bader
Academy. Midday supervisors support the children by serving their lunches,
supervising play inside or outside and clearing away food safely – The position is based solely at Douglas

Pathfinder Schools specialise in catering for various students in an
all-through school environment which include children classed as missing
education and those permanently excluded from mainstream schools. As such,
pupils are aged between 5 and 16 and mostly have significant and challenging social,
emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
This role requires a firm but fair approach to communicate effectively
and appropriately with the young people. Although supporting these pupils can
be challenging, the rewards are immense as we see them develop and succeed in
their education supported in a safe setting focused on positive relationships. If
you have the experience and resilience to deal with the challenges you will
face, apply today, we would love to hear from you.
