Unity Education Trust are looking for versatile,
resilient and committed Assistant Base Lead to join our education team at Douglas
Bader for maternity cover.
As Assistant Base Lead (ABL), you will be managing pastoral aspects of
our school life including safeguarding, attendance, engagement and behavior,
working alongside teaching professionals and managing a team of Teaching
Assistants. This role is pivotal in supporting the smooth running of our school
and as such, it would suit someone with extensive experience supporting young
people with additional needs.
Further to this, ABLs may be asked to specialise for a period of time on
a specific area dependent on the emerging needs of the school.
The successful candidate will have their own caseload of pupil premium pupils
to manage, track, monitor and support.
The successful candidate will have experience of:

· Ideally have experience of working in a secondary
