About this Role

Orchids Childcare is an Out of School Club providing childcare to local families within St. Augustine's Catholic Primary School, Whitefields Road, Solihull, B91 3NZ.

We are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Kids Club Practitioner to work in our busy out of school club at St. Augustine's Primary School in Solihull. You would be required to work Monday – Friday, 19.5 hours per week, term time only. The working pattern is non-negotiable. The morning session is 7:30am – 9:00am and the afternoon session is 3pm – 6pm Monday- Thursday and 7:30-9:00am only on Fridays.

You will supervise children aged between 3-11 years in an out of school club setting, assist with the planning and delivering of Kids Club activities and supervise play both indoors and outdoors. There will also be some meal preparation of breakfast and afternoon snack.
You should hold a valid DBS certificate preferably visible on the update service and have an excellent knowledge of safeguarding. You should ideally hold a relevant childcare qualification or equivalent. All necessary training will be provided to enable you to carry out the role.
