About this Role

Join our Talent Pool at Springwell Leeds Academy (East Site)

At Springwell Leeds Academy (East Site), our aim is simple: to provide the best possible care and education for children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs from across the city of Leeds.

We put Unconditional Positive Regard at the absolute centre of how we work. We have created an academy that is welcoming, caring, safe, nurturing, and warm. We believe that all our pupils can, with the right support, be empowered to succeed.

We are launching our Talent Pool to match dedicated, resilient, and empathetic professionals with impactful roles as they arise. By joining, you will be at the forefront for upcoming opportunities that match your unique expertise.

We offer various contracts to suit your lifestyle, including permanent, full time, part time, and casual positions.

Choose Your Path of Impact

  • Teaching Assistant: Provide essential daily classroom support, building the strong, vital relationships that help pupils feel safe, regulated, and ready to learn.

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA): Step up to lead learning activities and advance classroom progress, helping deliver a creative, engaging, and innovative curriculum.

  • Care Team Member: Focus on the well being and emotional regulation of our students, providing the care, stability, and therapeutic support they thrive on.

  • We would also love to hear from people interested in joining our catering, cleaning and estates team.

The Perks of the Job

Looking for a career reset? These roles are the perfect starting point for future educators, psychology graduates, and those looking to build real world experience in a specialised SEMH setting.

  • World-Class Training: We are always looking for the best ways to support our children, working closely with national and international experts. You will receive amazing, ongoing training and full TeamTeach support where needed.

  • A Nurturing Environment: You will be part of a supportive team delivering a curriculum that prioritises well being, balancing traditional subjects with creative, hands on learning.

  • A Great Balance: We truly care about our staff. You get to make a massive, life changing impact during the school day, and then leave work completely at the door when you clock out to enjoy your evenings and weekends.

Why Join Our Talent Pool?

When you register for our support staff talent pool, you aren't just joining a waiting list, you are positioning yourself at the front of the line for a rewarding career.
