This is far more than a teaching role.  It is an opportunity to lead a creative programme that changes lives.

About the Role

Working closely with the Inspired Centre Manager, you will lead and develop our Inspired programme, creating engaging activities that enable young people and adults with SEND to thrive.

  • Community engagement
  • Events, exhibitions and enterprise initiatives

Every day is different.  One day you may be supporting clients to create products for sale in The Loft, another you could be organising a community event, delivering a wellbeing session, planning creative workshops or helping clients develop valuable employability and independence skills.

A key part of the role is leading The Loft, our enterprise shop, where clients gain real-life retail and customer service experience.  You'll support clients to design and create products, prepare them for sale, manage stock, merchandise displays and work alongside them during our monthly public opening, helping them build confidence through meaningful work experience.

  • Organised, proactive and solution focused.
  • Committed to providing person-centred support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
  • Excited about developing enterprise opportunities that make a genuine difference.

Experience in enterprise, arts and crafts, wellbeing programmes, retail or community engagement would be highly desirable.

 Why Join Youth Inspired?

We offer:

  • A supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Ongoing professional development and training.
  • The chance to make a genuine and lasting difference to the lives of young people and adults with SEND.
  • A varied, rewarding role where no two days are ever the same.

Most importantly, you'll help people discover new skills, build confidence, develop friendships and prepare for brighter futures.
