About this Role

“RISE is Revolutionising SEND Education for aspirational learning, personal empowerment and confidence to shatter glass ceilings, reaching new levels of achievement with young people aged 16-25 years old. RISE SPACE prioritises understanding the whole person and uses this to inform the curriculum, programmes of support and to build a solid platform for future pathways.”

Exams Officer – RISE SPACE (Bedford | Bozeat | Aylesbury)

RISE SPACE, an Alternative SEND Provision, is seeking a proactive and detail driven Experienced Exams Officer to support our three satellite centres. Applicants must be able to drive and have their own transport to move between sites. Expenses paid.

In this multisite role, you’ll oversee the full exams process—ensuring smooth delivery of a wide range of qualifications including GCSEs, Functional Skills, Gateway, Entry Levels and A Levels. You’ll help create a calm, supportive exam environment for young people with SEND, many of whom benefit from tailored access arrangements and personalised approaches.

What We’re Looking For

  • Highly organised and confident with administrative processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassionate and adaptable, with an understanding of SEND needs
  • Experience in exams administration is essential

If you're passionate about integrity, organisation and inclusive education, we’d love to hear from you.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of young people while becoming a valued part of RISE SPACE’s dynamic and innovative team.

We reserve the right to appoint before the application deadline, so early applications are encouraged.

RISE is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.  An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this post.
