About this Role

Level 2 or 3 Lunchtime Assistant

Hours: 4 hours a day (11am-3.00pm), 20 hours per week.  28 days paid holiday including national bank holidays, which includes a whole week break over Christmas.

Salary: £12.71 an hour. NEST pension scheme available.


Little Lattons Nursery are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated member to join our team. Ideal candidates would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the children to play, learn and grow. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Lunchtime Assistants may be qualified or unqualified but will need to obtain an enhanced DBS check, have an understanding of safeguarding children, health and safety regulations and food hygiene.

As a lunchtime assistant, you will play a supportive role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery during lunch hours, you will work flexibly to provide lunch cover, meal preparation and supervising meals, have an outstanding knowledge of allergens and maintain the high standard of hygiene in the kitchen.
