About this Role

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for Catholic education? Do you have the drive and dedication to  shape the future of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Birmingham through the creation of a new Catholic multi-academy trust? Can you inspire excellence at every level? If so, this is an unparalleled opportunity to make a lasting impact as part of the strategic development of education across our schools.

This new role will work with the Archdiocese of Birmingham to oversee the creation of a large Catholic multi-academy trust of 54 schools across Solihull, South Birmingham and Worcestershire.  This role offers the opportunity to lead at scale while remaining rooted in the daily life and mission of Catholic schools. The CEO will provide strategic leadership, work closely with the Board and diocesan partners, and ensure that Catholic life and mission, educational standards and governance continue to flourish as the new trust is established.

·         - has a proven successful track record of raising standards

·         - will inspire, motivate, challenge and encourage staff

·         - will nurture the spirituality and wellbeing of staff and the community

We can offer:

·         - Dedicated and committed staff and school leaders working across our 9 academies (growing to 54)

·         -  An experienced executive, central and school‑based team across the 54 MACs and schools

·         - A supportive and challenging Board of Directors

·         - Supportive and strong working relationships with the Diocesan Education Service and the DfE

·         - An environment that strongly encourages CPD and formation

·         - A competitive remuneration package, reflecting the scale, complexity and significance of the role

·
