As a Cover Teacher you will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality education when pupils’ regular teachers are absent. You will provide flexible, timely cover across our schools, ensuring that learning continues smoothly and pupils remain engaged and motivated.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering and supervising planned lessons that challenge and inspire pupils
  • Managing behaviour to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils’ progress and communicating effectively with class teachers
  • Invigilating examinations and supervising independent study periods
  • Contributing to the wider life of the schools and supporting additional activities as needed

This role offers variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with diverse pupil groups across multiple settings, making a positive impact on their educational journey.
