About this Role

Our School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) offers a flexible route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in just one year. From day one, you’ll be based in our school, gaining hands-on classroom experience alongside expert support and mentoring.

We are recruiting Science (Biology) trainees to start in September 2026. Whether you are a recent graduate or considering a career change, this is your chance to inspire young people and make a real difference in secondary education.

School locations - We are looking for trainees at:

City of London Academy, Highgate Hill
London Nautical, City of London Academy

Programme start date: September 2026

Programme end date: July 2027
