Our SCITT programme provides a flexible route to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in just one year. From day one, trainees are based in school, gaining hands-on classroom experience while developing their subject expertise, supported by experienced mentors and a strong training network.
This new Music pathway is designed for aspiring secondary music teachers who are passionate about inspiring young people through performance, creativity and musical expression. You’ll have the opportunity to train in a vibrant school environment, working closely with experienced music educators and engaging with a diverse and dynamic student community.
Whether you’re a recent graduate in music or a career changer looking to share your passion, this is your opportunity to make a real impact through music education.
School locations: We are looking for trainees at The City Academy, Hackney and City of London Academy, Highbury Grove
Programme start date: September 2026
Programme end date: July 2027
