Our Board of Trustees and associated governance structure of Board Committees and Local Governing Bodies are well established. We are looking for governors to strengthen our Local Governing Bodies. The core functions of these are:
ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction;
holding executive leaders to account for educational performance and pupil well-being.
Governors’ days are held three times a year, in school and take place over a whole school day. Governors spend the morning undertaking planned monitoring visits and discussions with staff and pupils; a more formal business meeting is held in the afternoon. You may occasionally be asked to serve on a disciplinary or complaints committee. Governors are also expected to attend training particularly with regard to your safeguarding responsibilities; much of this training is online.
This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience to be involved in a very meaningful way in your local community, to ensure our vision is lived out in practice in our schools. You do not need specific governance or education experience to join. We would seek to match you to a Local Governing Body that made best use of your knowledge and expertise.
Our family of schools consists of five primaries, three of which are Church of England schools, one Church of England secondary school and one special secondary school. For more information, please visit: trinitasacademytrust.org

publicly available information, and check spelling and grammar. You must not
use AI to exaggerate or invent skills or experience, or to produce generic
responses for your application. All information submitted must be accurate and
