About the Role:

As a classroom teacher at Include Education, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal growth of students. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging and structured lessons tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners, following the school’s curriculum and schemes of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Learning: Plan and deliver well-structured lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for all pupils.

  • Student Assessment & Development: Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.

  • Inspiring Learning Environment: Set high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge students, promoting positive outcomes and progress.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development to enhance student learning experiences.

  • School Contribution: Engage in whole-school initiatives, including anti-bullying programs and the development of students’ interpersonal skills.

  • Supervision & Cover Duties: Provide cover for absent teachers when required and ensure student safety during breaks and lunchtime, including food preparation as needed.

  • Professional Growth: Take part in regular training, appraisals, and professional development opportunities.

  • Communication & Conduct: Maintain open and professional communication with pupils, parents, and colleagues while upholding the school’s values and policies.

  • Safeguarding Responsibilities: Prioritise the welfare and safety of children by following school safeguarding policies and procedures.
