About this Role

As an Outreach Tutor, you will work closely with students who face barriers to education, delivering personalised, one-to-one support in both school and community settings. You will play a key role in helping learners rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and develop the skills needed for a successful return to education. This is a flexible and rewarding role, combining academic support with a strong focus on pastoral care and relationship-building.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for somebody who is:

  • Compassionate, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people facing barriers to education
  • Experienced working with children or young people (e.g. as a Teaching Assistant, support worker, or similar), ideally with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Confident delivering personalised, one-to-one support
  • Able to build strong, trusting relationships and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to safeguarding
  • Experienced supporting EBSA/EBSNA or working with multi-agency teams (desirable)
