Job Overview:
We are looking for both career changers and recent graduates to train as mathematics teachers.
Habs Elstree is the lead school of the North London Hub of the National Maths & Physics SCITT, a school centred, subject specialised teacher training programme designed to help address the acute shortage of Maths and Physics teachers.
The SCITT approach is different to traditional teacher training in the following ways:
Entry requirements for candidates are UK settled status, plus a UK first- or second-class bachelor’s degree (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant subject, in addition to a love of their subject and a desire to work with young people.
