The Pioneer Academy are looking for a Business Manager to join our central academy team. The role will involve working as a school Business Manager to support a group of 3 schools within the trust in our Croydon Region, working alongside the Finance Manager for the schools, and supported by the wider Academy business team, including the Director of HR, Head of Estates, and the CFO.
This is a full time role, working 36 hours a week and across 52 weeks a year with an annual leave entitlement. Start dates are flexible, depending on the successful candidate's current working commitments and any relevant notice period. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who can start in the Summer term, but we appreciate that those in contracted roles may not be available immediately.
We are seeking a qualified Business Manager. The advertised salary reflects both the centralised role supporting more than one school and also that this is a qualified role. The role will involve working on site, in schools, and some time working in the central office based in Keston, working with the wider business team on all aspects of HR, estate management, finance and business management. We seek applications from those candidates with business management experiences within the education sector. HR and estates management experience in schools is a large part of this role and, therefore, candidates should highlight their relevant experiences in these fields within their application form. Please see the attached job description for full details of the role and responsibilities.
We may consider interest from unqualified Business Managers who have extensive school based experience, but no specific qualification yet. Please call the phone number below to discuss your experiences and their relevance, as well as discussing the salary. The listed salary above is for applicants who have a relevant qualification in Business Management.
