About this role
A key member of the Trust’s National Leadership Group, the
National Director of People will play a central role in shaping and delivering
our culture and strategic vision across the Trust.
You will lead a team of people professionals, offering
expert advice, guidance and challenge as required to ensure that every school
within the Trust is a great place for pupils to learn, and where staff enjoy
fulfilling careers.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced people leader,
ideally with experience in the education sector. You’ll bring the drive,
judgement and resilience needed to successfully lead through this period of
change.
With a proven track record in leading trade union
negotiations, you will build and sustain positive, collaborative relationships
with recognised unions and consultative bodies at a senior level.

About you
We are seeking an exceptional leader, with a proven track
record of delivering impactful results in a fast-paced and challenging
environment. You will bring expertise in UK employment law, alongside
significant experience in navigating complex employee relations matters with
confidence and integrity. Your leadership style will align with our trust's
ethos and values, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and the belief in
education’s transformative power for young people.
You’ll be a strategic thinker with strong organisational and
management skills, capable of aligning people strategies with broader
organisational goals.
We’re seeking an inspiring, driven, energetic leader to lead
the transformation of our people function, shaping it into a high-performing,
strategic, education focused team.
You will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, COO, National
Directors of Education and wider National Leadership Group including our
Academy Principals providing expert guidance on all people related matters
including complex multi-functional decision making.
