About this Role

At TCES Nurture Primary, we are proud to provide a highly specialised, inclusive environment for children aged 7–12 with complex SEND needs. Rooted in an evidence-based nurture approach and a steadfast commitment to zero exclusions, our school offers a therapeutic learning environment in which every child is known, valued and supported.

We are looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in East London. Working closely with the class teacher, you will provide targeted educational and pastoral support to individual pupils and small groups, lead lessons from pre-prepared plans in the teacher's absence, and contribute to the positive, nurturing culture that defines life at TCES Nurture Primary. You will be supported by — and contribute to — our integrated team of educators, therapists, social workers and family support workers.

We are looking for someone who brings professional experience in an educational setting, a thorough understanding of SEND and neurodiversity, and a genuine commitment to the welfare and progress of every child. In return, we offer a values-led workplace, comprehensive professional development, and the privilege of being part of a school community that truly changes lives.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum two years' experience in an educational or related setting
  • Strong knowledge of SEND, neurodiversity and the National Curriculum
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
  • HLTA qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

What We Offer

  • Ongoing CPD informed by current neuroscientific research
  • A collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
  • The opportunity to make a genuine and lasting impact
