About this Role

At TCES Nurture Primary, we believe that every child — regardless of their history or the challenges they face — deserves an outstanding education in an environment that feels safe, nurturing and full of possibility. Guided by our Principles of Therapeutic Education and a firm commitment to zero exclusions, we support children aged 7–12 with complex SEND needs to achieve their potential and rediscover a love of learning.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced KS2 Teacher to join our team in East London. In this role, you will take responsibility for the full educational and pastoral provision for your class, delivering a creative, differentiated curriculum that reflects our nurturing ethos. You will lead and support a team of Therapeutic Education Practitioners, collaborate closely with our integrated services team, and play a central role in ensuring every pupil makes positive, meaningful progress.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with at least five years' experience in primary or SEND education, a genuine understanding of neurodiversity and complex needs, and a deep commitment to therapeutic, relationship-based practice. If you are someone who believes in the power of education to transform lives, we would love to hear from you.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Minimum five years' teaching experience in primary or SEND settings
  • Strong understanding of neurodiversity, ASC and SEMH needs
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and SEND Code of Practice
  • Commitment to safeguarding and therapeutic education principles

What We Offer

  • A values-led, collaborative working environment
  • Ongoing CPD informed by the latest neuroscientific research
  • The opportunity to make a genuine and lasting difference
