About this Role

The Equinox Learning Trust is seeking new Trustees to enhance our Board and help shape the future of education for children aged 4-18 in Thatcham, West Berkshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute strategically to a growing Trust, support school improvement, and develop your own leadership and governance skills.

We welcome applications from individuals with experience in leadership, decision-making, or professional expertise. No prior governance experience is required. We are particularly interested in candidates with skills in:

Education and curriculum
Finance
Risk management and audit
Governance and Legal
IT and cyber security
HR and personnel
Communications and Marketing
Estates.

Trustees work collaboratively as part of the Board and are expected to attend meetings, training, and occasional school visits. The time commitment is approximately 6 hours per month.
