Unity Education Trust are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and
diligent Administration Assistant to help supporting administrative and
clerical functions to a high standard within the school, ensuring consistency. Tasks
will involve the completion of paperwork and referrals, recording placements
and tracking and inputting attendance into MIS system.
The successful candidate will be a
motivated individual who can deliver a high-quality service to the school
community and meet key deadlines in a faced paced and sometimes challenging
environment. A caring and supportive nature with the ability to remain calm and
cope with the unexpected is essential as many of our pupils have social,
emotional and behavioral difficulties (SEBD) as well as pupils classed as missing education and permanently
excluded from mainstream schools.

Using MIS systems for
accurate recording including SIMS. (training will be offered)

Proficient when handling

Responsible for
providing a professional and friendly point of contact to all parents and
visitors to the school, ensuring all queries are dealt with effectively and
efficiently.

Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure
the provision of services to the school and the maintenance of a safe working
environment for all.
·
Be caring, enthusiastic, dedicated and
well-organised;
·
Have excellent standards of IT, Literacy and
Numeracy;
·
Be able to work under pressure and priorities tasks;
·
Work well in a team and apply excellent
communication (verbal and in writing)
We are looking for a person who:
-Has NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent experience/qualification in a relevant
discipline
-Has good numeracy and literacy skills
-Has had experience of working in a busy school office setting
-Has experience of the SIMS Database and school administrative procedures
-Is proficient in the use of ICT
-Is organised, efficient and hardworking
-Is able to work constructively as part of a team
-Is reliable and trustworthy
-Is flexible, adaptable and able to work calmly under pressure
