About this Role

Cambrian Learning Trust is looking to appoint a Primary School Improvement Partner on a fixed term contract until August 2027. The successful post holder will work as a member of the Academy Education team to drive improvement through all schools in the academy.  

Cambrian Learning Trust comprises approximately 20 schools, providing education across Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form phases. This breadth of provision offers the successful candidate a genuine opportunity to make a significant impact, driving improvements in teaching, learning and student attainment across the Trust. 

We are looking for a person who can work with a cluster of schools to:

  • Provide support and challenge to enable rapid school improvement and development at a school
  • Review and audit provision and help create a SEF & SDP
  • Prepare a school for Ofsted and SIAM's
  • Analyse and track school data
  • Help schools to set targets
  • Lead appraisals at each school
  • Run CPD and training
  • Broker support for each school
  • Work with the Trust School improvement team
  • Lead on one project/aspect across the Trust
  • Report to the LGC & Board
