Working across our family of schools, you will provide expert advice to Headteachers and Designated Safeguarding Leads, lead on complex child protection matters, represent schools at multi-agency meetings, and help ensure safeguarding policies and procedures reflect current legislation and best practice.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working within Children's Services, Social Care or a related safeguarding environment.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection procedures and multi-agency working.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable children and their families.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and case management skills.
  • Emotional resilience and a child-centred approach.

Experience of working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.

The role requires regular travel between school sites across Faringdon, Abingdon, Wantage and the surrounding areas.
