About this Role

Cambrian Learning Trust is seeking an Early Years Lead Practitioner to join our team on a temporary basis for one year. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate educator to play a pivotal role in raising standards of teaching and learning across our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) settings.

About the Role

Working closely with the Director of Education and Head Teachers, you will:

  • Lead initiatives to improve EYFS teaching and learning across all Trust schools.
  • Support school improvement activities such as lesson observations, learning walks, and book scrutiny.
  • Deliver staff development sessions, including twilight INSETs.
  • Model outstanding practice and mentor teaching staff through joint planning and assessment.
  • Facilitate collaboration and share best practice across the Trust.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher with a proven track record of excellent teaching.
  • Experience in leading high-performing EYFS settings.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Knowledge of current Ofsted frameworks and a passion for improving outcomes for young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
