We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art and Design
Lecturer to join our amazing Creative Arts team at South Staffordshire College.
You’ll be working with talented students and colleagues in a
department known for its strong achievement rates and supportive atmosphere.
With access to fantastic creative facilities, you’ll help learners build their
skills, confidence, and creativity.
Whether you’re already teaching or bringing industry experience
into the classroom for the first time, this is a great chance to make a real
impact and inspire the next generation of artists and designers.
The role will include teaching across the general Art and Design
pathway, so we are looking for someone with a broad creative skillset and the
confidence to support learners across 2D, 3D and 4D practice. This could
include drawing, painting, print, mixed media, sculpture, installation, digital
processes, lens-based work, time-based media and creative experimentation.
You will help students explore ideas, develop practical techniques
and build a strong portfolio of work that reflects their individual creative
direction.
The
successful candidate must also have a relevant teaching qualification or be
willing to work towards one.
