About this Role

Executive Assistant to the Executive Leadership Team 

Discovery Schools Academies Trust Ltd
Salary: Grade 9 Pay Point  19-22

Hours: 37 hours per week 
Contract Type: Full-Time, 52 weeks per year and appointed on a  permanent basis 

Working Pattern:  Monday -Friday 

Location:  Discovery Offices at Parkland Primary School with some travel to schools within the Trust and to external event locations

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, providing high-quality, efficient support that enables them to focus on delivering strategic priorities. You’ll be a trusted partner, managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

You’ll also act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, building positive relationships and ensuring communication is clear, consistent and professional.

  • Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive support role
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to prioritise, problem-solve and remain calm under pressure
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
  • A proactive mindset—always one step ahead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing complex calendars and scheduling for multiple senior leaders
  • Coordinating meetings, events and governance activity (including preparing agendas, papers and minutes)
  • Acting as a first point of contact for enquiries, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times
  • Supporting projects and initiatives across the organisation
  • Ensuring systems, processes and records are well organised and up to date
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across teams and schools to keep everything connected and moving forward
