These roles are to provide additional backfill support to the Trust's HR and Payroll operations during the implementation of a new HR information system and external payroll provider. The work will be on a casual basis for approximately 3 days per week starting as soon as possible following completion of checks and continuing until around October 2026. Due to the immediate need, applications will be reviewed as they are received and therefore this vacancy may be removed before the final closing date if the roles are filled before that date.
Both roles require individuals who are IT and database literate, capable of maintaining the confidentiality and security of data, with good communication and numeracy skills. The roles have a large degree of flexibility in where the work is carried out, with a contractual base at the Trust's St James CofE Academy. The ability to work proactively and using your own initiative is essential. For the HR assistant work, experience within an HR role or experience within an administrative role in an education setting is essential. Both roles require good numeracy skills. The payroll assistant role requires payroll experience and strong numeracy and Excel skills, including the ability to carry out standard functions such as VLOOKUP.
We are a friendly and supportive team and welcome applications from those able to contribute skills and experience as above.
