New Bradwell School Unit is a vibrant school dedicated to supporting autistic children. Our small Unit of 32 students allows for personalised learning and a nurturing environment. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

We are part of the Grand Union Partnership, which is a Multi-Academy Trust, currently including four primary schools operating in Milton Keynes and South Northamptonshire. Trustees have a clear vision which promotes excellence, equality and high expectations for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and deliver a high-quality curriculum that supports children's learning and development.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, promoting early help and ensuring a smooth transition to school.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress, using a variety of assessment methods.
  • Work as part of a supportive team, sharing best practices and contributing to a positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils' learning, both individually and in groups
  • Identifying and addressing the individual needs of pupils.
  • Providing additional support to pupils who are struggling.
  • Encouraging pupils to develop their independence and self-confidence.
  • Preparing resources and materials for lessons.
