About this Role

Middlesex Learning Partnership

Governance, Compliance and Operations Manager

Salary: POA 29-33 (currently £42,769 - £46,967)

This is a permanent position / Full-time

Hybrid working and part time arrangements will be considered

Are you ready to make a difference in a forward-thinking, thriving trust? Are you kind, collaborative and efficient, with an eye for detail? Do you have the skills to shape this new role?

Robust governance and operations are essential in underpinning the success of our organisation.  They help us to keep children safe, deliver great education, and support our leaders effectively. As our trust grows, we need to ensure that our compliance and operational arrangements scale with the organisation.

Taking responsibility across a broad range of key support and governance functions, you will be excited by the opportunity to shape and develop this new role. Working closely with headteachers and senior leaders, your contribution will be key in ensuring that our policies and governance are strong enablers of organisational effectiveness.

Your values and approach are more important to us than your professional background. You may have gained experience in a governance, compliance, policy, or a related field. And you may have worked within or beyond education. What matters most is that you are excited by the mission of our trust, that you recognise the essential contribution robust governance and compliance make, and that your high standards, attention to detail and energy will truly drive forward our work in this area.

We are a growing trust and, over time, the role has the potential to evolve into a head of service or COO position.

 Closing date: 8:00am, Monday 1 June 2026.

Interview date: Friday 5 June 2026.

We accept only employment and academic references.  Character references and those sent from generic email addresses (e.g. Gmail or Hotmail) will not be accepted.
