TRUSTEE AT ASPIRE ACADEMIES TRUST
Aspire Academies Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) currently
consisting of six thriving primary schools across Hemel Hempstead and Watford
with aspirations to expand. We support over 2,500 pupils and employ more than
350 dedicated staff members. We are currently seeking new Trustees to
join our Board.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a strategic, non-operational governance role.
Trustees work collectively to ensure the Trust delivers the best outcomes for
children, by focusing on:
As a Trustee, you help ensure Aspire does the right things,
for the right people, in the right way. Governance ensures – management does.

the energy and capacity to contribute meaningfully.
We are keen for our Board to reflect the diversity of the
communities we serve across Hemel Hempstead and Watford. We warmly encourage
applications from individuals from underrepresented backgrounds and with a wide
range of lived experiences.
PRACTICAL DETAILS
This is a voluntary, unpaid position. The Board meets regularly throughout the school year (currently monthly plus additional committee meetings), mostly during working hours with some morning and evening meetings. Most meetings are held virtually, minimising the need to travel.
